Beni and I went to Africa for two plus weeks at the end of May and the first of June. We had a GREAT time on a short safari.

Following the Safari we traveled north to be with Rolland and Heidi Baker at Iris Ministries. Every year the Bakers bring a couple hundred of their key leaders together for a retreat. They spend a few days together in worship, fellowship, teaching and fun. We stayed at a modest little hotel, which is absolute luxury for most of them as they live in the bush. It was a great honor to speak to these amazing leaders. They pour themselves out as ‘drink offerings’ all year long, affecting entire nations with the love and power of Christ. Most of them are unknown on earth, but are recognized as heroes in heaven.

From there we traveled still further north to Pemba, where Rolland and Heidi live, which is also the location of the Holy Given School. HGS is a school that trains missionaries in an authentic gospel – real love, and extraordinary power. It’s my third year to speak in that school. Wow!

Iris Ministries is amazing. It is all you’ve heard and more. Pray for them . . . give to them. It is one of our greatest honors to invest in eternity through their selfless efforts. Yeah God!!!
