Anointings Come From Honor

Several years ago I felt as though the Lord would release the anointings of past revival movements if we would honor those who carried such extraordinary gifts/graces. Most of them died misunderstood and rejected by the mainstream. Yet they released great blessings upon the church. We have been working since then to give honor where it’s due by learning from their experience and example, as well as give honor to their family members who are still alive.

God gave us a project to help restore honor, and therefore anointing. (If this subject interests you, I deal with this more thoroughly in the series, Recovering Our Spiritual Inheritance.) We are working on building a library/museum called The House of Generals. It will be a place where people can come to see artifacts from past revivals, as well as a library to study the great moves of God throughout history. This fits into our vision for having a University. Excellent libraries are one of the essential requirements for accreditation.

In the past year we have purchased Roberts Liardon’s library/museum. He authored the wonderful series of books, God’s Generals (required reading in BSSM). While I have been collecting books and artifacts for years, his is the most complete I’ve ever seen or heard of. With over 11,000 volumes of books, and amazing items for viewing, the House of Generals will be a wonderful place to visit or study. Things like Smith Wigglesworth’s piano, and Kathryn Kuhlman’s wedding dress, are just a couple of the items for the museum. Priceless photo’s, letters, and memorabilia fill the collection.

When Ray Hughes heard of our project he gave us his Revival Calendar. The dates are filled with historic notations of significant events. It is an exciting thing to own. All profits go to The House of Generals library. You can order a calendar on the Bethel Church web site.
We head off to England and Dubai this weekend. Pray. Thanks!!!
