Wisdom You Can Use

I just finished writing two new chapters for an interesting project to be released later this year. We have decided to do an expanded edition of When Heaven Invades Earth. This time it will be released in hardback, with a much cleaner edit. I know that hardback adds to the price of a book, so this won’t appeal to everyone. But whenever I’m given a choice I prefer hardbacks. They last long, and I like to think of having something of quality to leave to future generations. Anyway, it will be available later this year (probably August). And I am excited - New cover design, and hardback – two things that make me very happy!!

One of the great ministries of Bethel Church is our Transformation School, led by Danny Silk. It really has powerful impact on ministry leaders from around the world. We do that school several times a year. I got the chance to speak to about 50 of those leaders today. It was wonderful to be there. I am constantly impressed with the hunger and passion of God’s people. Today was no exception. Thank you Jesus that the future lies in part in the passions of today’s leaders.

Che Ahn spoke at BSSM today. It was great. He also spoke at our Friday night service. He’s a great friend of this house  - he plays such an important role in the move of God in California. It’s an honor to call him friend.

I leave for Orlando, Florida this next Wednesday. I will have been home for two solid weeks. Wow!! What a luxury.

Try reading a chapter of Proverbs a day. Just read according to the date – there are 31 chapters in Proverbs. It’s easy to figure out where to read. We are in such great need of wisdom right now. It is possible and necessary for us to prosper in troubled times. People must see we are in an unshakable Kingdom!
